The major function of the Center for Campus Life and Culture is to provide comprehensive psychological and counseling services that meet the developmental needs of students and their mental well-being. To achieve this, a wide range of counseling, consultation, educational services and psychological tests are offered. These services help students have a successful campus life and can also aid in a career planning. The center is committed to making systematic surveys on the psychological, socio-cultural and developmental characteristics of students, and to do research on the processes and outcomes of counseling. The results of these surveys contribute to university policy-making and to the knowledge of counselors, educators and other behavioral scientists.
Another main function of the Institute is to promote the well being of women on campus life. Special programs for women include individual and group counseling for the victims of sexual abuse, group training programs to foster wider opportunities for women, and research on sexual harassment and social, political, legal and cultural equality for women.
